Neuroscientific approach to teaching

Make revision structured, active and social.

Every feature is designed around how students understand, practise and remember information — combining live teaching, independent revision, quizzes, feedback and exam practice.

Spaced retrieval

Flashcards, practice questions and topic reviews help students revisit knowledge over time, strengthening recall before exams.

Social learning

Live group lessons create opportunities for explanation, discussion and guided practice — helping students learn actively rather than revise alone.

Immediate feedback

AI marking and tutor feedback help students spot mistakes quickly, improve exam technique and build stronger long-term understanding.

What the EEF study evidence suggests
— over one academic year

Evidence from the Education Endowment Foundation suggests that structured peer tutoring, collaborative learning and small-group tuition can produce additional progress over an academic year. Our model combines group teaching, independent revision, quizzes, feedback and exam practice to apply these evidence-informed principles.

Questions parents ask

Frequently asked questions.

The practical details around subjects, lessons, marking, support and how the platform works.

What subjects do you offer?
We currently offer A-Level Psychology, GCSE Maths, and support for selected IB subjects. From the 2026-27 academic year, starting in September 2026, we will also expand GCSE provision to include GCSE Maths, GCSE Science, and GCSE English.
What do Learning Path courses contain?
Learning Path courses include live lessons, recorded lesson replays, topic notes, exam-style questions, model answers, quizzes, revision resources, and structured homework. For A-Level Psychology students, we also provide predicted questions, essay plans, mark scheme guidance, and support with AO1, AO2, and AO3.
How does Learning Path help students prepare for exams?
We combine structured teaching with active revision. Students do not just watch lessons - they practise exam questions, complete quizzes, review model answers, and receive guidance on how to improve so they can understand, apply, and write answers in the way examiners expect.
Does the course cover everything for the exam?
Yes. Our courses are built around the relevant exam board specification, so students are guided through the content they need for their final exams. We also focus heavily on exam technique, because high grades require more than knowing the content alone.
How are answers marked?
Answers are marked using exam-board-style criteria. For A-Level Psychology, this means focusing on AO1 knowledge, AO2 application, and AO3 evaluation. Students are shown what they did well, what they missed, and how to improve their answer.
Do you use AI marking?
Some parts of the platform use AI-assisted feedback to help students get faster guidance on their work. It is a support tool, not a replacement for proper teaching, and it sits alongside mark schemes, model answers, tutor explanations, and live support.
Can AI marking get things wrong?
Yes. AI feedback can sometimes miss detail, over-credit an answer, or interpret a response differently to an examiner. That is why we encourage students to use AI feedback as a guide alongside tutor explanations, mark schemes, model answers, and live support.
Is group learning effective?
Yes - when it is structured properly. Research from the Education Endowment Foundation suggests that collaborative learning approaches can lead to around 5 months of additional progress, while peer tutoring approaches can lead to around 6 months of additional progress on average.
What happens if a student misses a lesson?
Students can usually catch up using the lesson replay and uploaded resources. This helps them stay on track even if they miss a session due to school, illness, or other commitments.
Can students ask questions outside lessons?
Yes. Students can ask questions through the agreed course communication channels. We encourage students to ask for help when they are stuck, especially with exam questions, essay structure, difficult topics, or revision planning.
