We are the owner or licensee of the intellectual property rights in our website, platform, course materials, videos, live lesson recordings, worksheets, predicted papers, quizzes, explanations, flashcards, AI marking tools, templates, graphics, written resources and other educational content.

These materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Unless we give you written permission, you may only use our materials for your own personal educational use.

Copy, reproduce or distribute our materials to others
Share paid resources with people who have not paid for access

No Text or Data Mining, Web Scraping or AI Training

You must not conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit text mining, data mining, scraping, crawling, harvesting or automated extraction of content from our website, platform or resources.

This clause does not apply where the law prevents us from excluding or limiting such activity.


Rules About Linking to Our Website

You may link to our homepage, provided that you do so in a way that is fair, lawful and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

User-Generated Content Is Not Approved by Us

Our website or platform may include content submitted by students, parents, tutors or other users.

Where content is user-generated, it may not have been verified, checked or approved by Learning Path before it appears.

The views expressed by users do not necessarily represent the views, values or opinions of Learning Path.

We may remove, restrict or moderate User Content where we believe it breaches these Terms of Use, our Safeguarding Policy, our Student Code of Conduct, or any applicable law.


Do Not Rely on General Information as Professional Advice

The content on our website and platform is provided for general educational and revision purposes.

Although we aim to provide accurate, useful and exam-relevant educational content, we do not guarantee that every resource, prediction, model answer, AI marking output or explanation will be complete, error-free, up to date or suitable for every student’s individual needs.

Our resources are designed to support learning and revision. They do not replace:

School teaching
Official exam board materials
Teacher guidance
Professional educational assessment
Medical, psychological, legal, financial or other specialist advice

Students should use our materials alongside their own revision, school guidance, exam board specifications and teacher feedback.

Predicted papers, predicted questions and exam forecasts are educational tools only. We do not guarantee that any predicted topic or question will appear in an exam.

AI marking tools are designed to support learning and feedback. They may make mistakes and should not be treated as official exam board marks.


We Are Not Responsible for Websites We Link To

Our website or platform may contain links to third-party websites, resources, tools, platforms or services.

These links are provided for convenience and information only.

They should not be interpreted as approval, endorsement or recommendation by Learning Path unless we clearly state otherwise.

We Are Not Responsible for Viruses or Technical Issues Outside Our Control

We do not guarantee that our website, platform, files, resources, lesson links or digital content will always be secure or free from bugs, viruses or technical issues.

You are responsible for configuring your device, internet connection, browser, software and security tools to access our website and platform safely.

You should use your own virus protection software and keep your device and browser up to date.

We are not responsible for technical problems caused by your device, internet connection, browser settings, third-party platforms or software outside our control.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Which Country’s Laws Apply?

These Terms of Use, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law.

If you are a consumer, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you are resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland, and if you are resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland.

If you are a business, these Terms of Use, their subject matter, their formation and any non-contractual disputes or claims are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.


Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to any use of our website, platform, live lessons, chats, comments, quizzes, homework tools, AI marking tools, student portals, uploaded files and any other interactive features.

To upload or send viruses, malware, spyware, harmful code or anything designed to damage or interfere with computer systems.

To scrape, copy, mine, extract or harvest content from our website or platform.

To use our content, resources or user data to train, develop or improve AI systems, models, tutoring tools or competing services without permission.


User Content Standards

Any User Content you upload, submit, generate or share must:

Be accurate where it states facts.

Contain only opinions that are genuinely held.

Comply with applicable law.

Be appropriate for an educational setting.

Be respectful towards tutors, students, parents and other users.

Not create a safeguarding, wellbeing, privacy or conduct risk.


User Content Must Not

Be sexually explicit or pornographic.

Promote violence, abuse, terrorism, extremism or criminal behaviour.

Promote discrimination based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, gender reassignment, nationality, ethnicity, age or any other protected characteristic.

Bully, insult, intimidate, embarrass, harass, upset or humiliate another person.

Threaten death, serious harm, violence or abuse.

Encourage self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or dangerous behaviour.

Contain graphic violence or realistic serious injury.

Contain private information about another person without permission.

Infringe copyright, database rights, trade marks or other intellectual property rights.

Breach any legal duty owed to another person, including confidentiality.

Deceive or mislead others.

Impersonate any person or falsely suggest a connection with Learning Path.

Contain advertising, promotional links or marketing without permission.

Contain exam cheating material, leaked papers or instructions to cheat.

Contain sexually explicit deepfakes, intimate image abuse or manipulated sexual content.

Contain content that is likely to impair the physical, mental or moral development of children.

Contain anything that would be inappropriate in a school, tuition or child-focused learning environment.


Illegal Content

You must not use our website, platform or services in any way that involves, promotes, encourages or assists:

Terrorism offences
Child sexual exploitation or abuse
Grooming
Child sexual abuse material
Encouraging or assisting suicide or serious self-harm
Harassment, stalking, threats or abuse
Hate offences

Content Very Harmful to Children

The following must not be uploaded, shared, created, generated or posted on our website or platform:

Content encouraging, promoting or giving instructions for suicide.

Content encouraging, promoting or giving instructions for deliberate self-injury.

Content encouraging, promoting or giving instructions for eating disorders or behaviours associated with eating disorders.

Content grooming, exploiting or sexually targeting children.

Content encouraging children to take part in dangerous stunts, challenges or harmful behaviour.


Other Content Harmful to Children

You must not upload, post, create, generate or share content that:

Is abusive and targets race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, gender reassignment or other protected characteristics.

Incites hatred against a person or group.

Encourages serious violence.

Depicts serious violence or serious injury in graphic detail.

Depicts serious violence or serious injury to animals in graphic detail.

Encourages dangerous challenges or stunts likely to result in serious injury.

Encourages a person to ingest, inhale, inject or otherwise use a harmful substance.

Encourages misuse of medication, drugs or harmful substances.

Exploits the trust of children in parents, tutors, teachers or other adults.

Is likely to cause serious fear, distress, humiliation or harm.


Video, Audio and Image Content

Where our platform allows video, audio or image content to be uploaded or shared, you must ensure that the content is appropriate for an educational environment.

You must not upload or share videos, images or audio that:

Contain criminal material.

Contain sexually explicit material.

Contain violent, graphic or harmful material.

Contain bullying, harassment or humiliation.

Contain private images of another person without permission.

Contain advertising without permission.

Contain content unsuitable for children or young people.

Would be likely to be classified as adult or restricted content.

Could impair the physical, mental or moral development of children.

Students must not record, screenshot or share images or videos of other students, tutors or live lessons without permission.


Advertising and Promotion

You must not upload, post, create or share content containing advertising, promotions, affiliate links, sales messages or links to other services without our permission.

You must not use our website, platform, comments, chats or student areas to promote competing tuition services, paid resources, social media accounts, businesses or unrelated products.


Breach of This Policy

If we believe that you have breached these Terms of Use or the Acceptable Use Policy, we may take appropriate action.

This may include:

Removing content
Suspending access
Disabling an account
Removing a student from a live lesson
Ending access to a course or platform
Contacting a parent or guardian
Contacting a school where appropriate
Reporting safeguarding concerns
Reporting illegal behaviour to the police or relevant authorities
Taking legal action where appropriate

We are not required to refund payments where access is removed because of serious misuse, safeguarding breaches, illegal behaviour, abuse, harassment, intellectual property infringement or breach of these Terms of Use.
