AI-generated marks and feedback may contain mistakes and should be treated as educational assistance rather than an official qualification result.

Where appropriate, tutors or authorised Learning Path staff may review, adjust or override automatically generated marks or feedback.

Learning Path does not intend to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on students solely through automated AI processing.

We do not intentionally use students’ homework, grades or educational profiles to target children with advertising.

8. Our Legal Bases for Using Personal Information

Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful reason for processing personal information.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it.

Withdrawal does not make processing that took place before withdrawal unlawful.

9. Marketing

Where permitted, we may send information about:

  • Learning Path courses;
  • New programmes;
  • Revision resources;
  • Free classes;
  • Events;
  • Offers;

You can stop marketing communications at any time by:

  • Using an unsubscribe option where provided;
  • Replying to ask us to stop;
  • Contacting us at teacher@learningpath.uk.

We may retain a minimal suppression record after an unsubscribe so that we know not to send marketing again.

  • Keep privacy settings appropriate for an educational environment;
  • Avoid unnecessary profiling;
  • Avoid unnecessary sharing of children’s information;
  • Give appropriate consideration to the best interests of the child.

A parent purchasing a course on behalf of a child may provide information necessary to create and administer the child’s account.

Children also have data protection rights.

Depending on a child’s age and understanding, those rights may be exercised by the child themselves or, in appropriate circumstances, by a parent or guardian acting on their behalf.

We do not intentionally sell children’s personal information.

We do not intentionally use children’s educational performance information to build advertising profiles.

13. International Data Transfers

Some technology providers we use may operate servers or organisations outside the United Kingdom.
