Welcome to Learning Path. These Terms and Conditions apply when you enrol in our courses or use our services via our website learningpath.uk.


1. Who We Are

Learning Path is a UK-based education company offering online and live tuition services for students preparing for SATs, GCSEs, and A-Levels. These terms (“we”, “us”, “our”) refer to Learning Path.

2. Age Restrictions

You must be 18 years or older to purchase a course. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the purchase and agree to these terms on your behalf.


3. Enrolment and Payments

  • Payment is taken securely through our checkout system, powered by WooCommerce and Stripe.
  • You will be charged when you enrol in a course, whether it is live or pre-recorded.
  • Some courses may offer payment plans or subscriptions, which will be clearly displayed during checkout.

4. VAT

If VAT applies and the rate changes during your subscription or course access period, your payment will be adjusted accordingly, unless you have already paid in full.


5. Delays or Access Issues

We aim to provide continuous, high-quality access to your course materials. However, if technical or external events delay access, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible.
  • Attempt to fix the issue promptly.
  • Not offer compensation unless access is interrupted for more than 7 consecutive days.

6. Your Right to Cancel and Refunds

You have a 14-day legal cooling-off period, subject to the following:

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days.


7. Course Access Terms

By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Complete any set homework or tasks if part of a live course.
  • Attend sessions punctually.
  • Not share, download, or redistribute course content.

8. Technical Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure your device meets minimum technical requirements (e.g., access to YouTube, Google Meet, PDFs, or quizzes).


9. If There’s a Problem with the Course

Contact our support team if:

  • A video or lesson isnโ€™t accessible.
  • You experience technical issues with quizzes or downloads.

Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. If the content is faulty or not as described, we will offer:

  • A fix or alternative material
  • A partial or full refund if the problem can’t be resolved

10. Changes to Services or Content

We may make the following changes without notice:

  • Minor updates to fix bugs or add features
  • Adjustments to reflect changes in educational requirements

We will notify you if major changes occur or if access is disrupted for longer than 7 days.


11. Suspending or Ending Your Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:

  • Payments fail or are not completed after 3 daysโ€™ notice
  • Terms are breached (e.g., content misuse or disruptive behaviour in live classes)

We may also suspend access for technical maintenance with prior notice.


12. Withdrawing a Course

If we decide to discontinue a course, we will give at least 14 days’ notice and offer a refund if you have paid in advance.


13. Liability

We are only liable for:

  • Losses due to our negligence
  • Faulty or misleading content
  • Services not delivered as promised

We are not liable for:

  • Device issues on your end
  • Internet connection problems
  • Indirect, unforeseeable, or business-related losses

14. Privacy and Data

We collect minimal personal data to manage your account and course access.

15. Disputes and Legal

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes can be resolved:

  • Via our support team at support@learningpath.uk
  • Through legal action in courts in England, or your country of residence (Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland)

16. Other Terms

  • You cannot transfer your access to another person without our permission.
  • If part of these terms is ruled unlawful, the rest remains in effect.
  • Delays in enforcing this contract do not mean we waive our rights.
